Lets not kid ourselves, it’s hard, that’s why you need to write a guide in the first place
How do you know if the engine sparks? Or what any of those parts are/look like? Where do you get the computer thing to check for that error?
It isn’t hard for someone who already knows this stuff and has the tools to do something about it, but for the layman you might as well be talking about nuclear physics.
Cool guide, though, definitely saving this one.

How about some more trivial and common issues like checking that the car is in neutral/park?
Speaking as a mechanic, I can tell you that this guide is basically useless on a new car. I can think of at least 20 more things that could also be the problem. You can’t just narrow it down like this anymore
If you need this chart, you sure as hell don’t know how to “check the flywheel” or pull the engine and/or trans to get to it.
This chart might work on older, pre-emission control vehicles but none of them have an OBD port.
Sorry, but I fail to see the value of this.
