COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Macy’s has announced it will be closing its Post Oak Mall location in College Station.
A representative with the company says the location is one of approximately 45 stores that will be closed this year as part of its 3-year store closure plan.
A clearance sale is scheduled to begin in January and run for 8-12 weeks before the store officially closes.
The next closest Macy’s location in The Woodlands will remain open and regular, non-seasonal employees who do not transfer will be eligible for severance.
